Narbonne is pretty small, even
so, all of France is in an uproar. For those of you who haven't heard, there
was a bombing on Wednesday in Paris, another shooting there too on Thursday,
and on Friday there were multiple smaller attacks throughout France. There is a
massive movement worldwide for French patriotism and standing against terrorism
called "Je suis Charlie" (I am Charlie), and many huge public things
have gone along with that. Here in Narbonne we are ok, though one of the high
schools here in town had all the windows busted out of it, in an act of
rebellion against some of the Arabs here, even though they didn’t do anything.
Other than that, for the missionaries this week was pretty normal, we spent a
lot of time trying to find people, a lot of our amis our still gone from
vacationing. We did a lot of less active work this week, which was really fun,
one of the less actives got us tickets to go see his rugby match, so that was a
blast! All is well, we had Branch Conference here yesterday in Beziers, and
that was really good, I ended up teaching Gospel Doctrines to one of the amis
the beziers elders had at church, and didn’t do half bad, so that was great! Au
revoir!
